
EDI Message Types
There are two EDI message types used to transmit data: ANSI and EDIFACT.
ANSI or the American National Standards Institute is used primarily in North
America. EDIFACT or Electronic Data Interchange for Administration, Commerce and
Trade is used primarily in Europe, Asia and Oceania.
