Chill Sensitivity
Most tropical products are subject to chilling injury when transported or stored at lower than recommended temperatures.
This damage often becomes apparent after the products warm up.
Products injured may show pitting, discoloration, water soaked areas, and failure to ripen. The following is a list of products that are chill sensitive: |
